Neeraj Udhwani, a 33-year-old resident of Jaipur, was among the victims of the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22. His body is expected to arrive in Jaipur later tonight.

Neeraj, who lived in Forest View Residency, Model Town (Malviya Nagar), was on vacation in Kashmir with his wife when terrorists opened fire on tourists in Baisaran Valley, a popular spot in Pahalgam.

While Neeraj lost his life in the attack, his wife, who was at the hotel at the time, survived unharmed. She informed the family of the tragedy.

In a post on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, Union minister Gajendra Shekhawat said, “I’ve spoken to the concerned authorities and urged airlines, hotels, and tour operators to allow full refunds without hassle”.

The Centre is fully backing tourists in Jammu and Kashmir, who are keen on returning home after the shocking attack on tourist in Pahalgam, Union minister for tourism Gajendra Shekhawat said today. 

In a post on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, the minister said, “In light of yesterday’s tragic incident in Kashmir, many tourists are understandably anxious and reconsidering their travel plans. I’ve spoken to the concerned authorities and urged airlines, hotels, and tour operators to allow full refunds without hassle”.
